In a recent article in Nature Communications, the authors examine how temperature affects economic growth across Europe. Using a granular dataset on economic production by region and industry, the authors find that warming on average reduces European growth, with annual growth projected to fall by 0.2 to 1.2 percentage points by 2070–2099 under a moderate emissions scenario.
