Prof. Tomoyuki Shimanuki

  • Professor at the Chuo University Graduate School of Strategic Management in Tokyo, Japan. Previously, he was a professor of human resource management and industrial relations at Hitotsubashi University, also in Tokyo. He holds a Ph.D. from Hitotsubashi University and has been a visiting scholar at Cornell University and the UCLA Institute for Research on Labor and Employment. His primary research interests include the externalization of employment by Japanese firms and its impact on the job quality of Japanese workers.
