Research

Current research projects in part examine the implications of globalization for output growth and income inequality, as well as macroeconomic modelling and policy design for emerging market economies. The research projects also involve the development of novel computational methods for the solution of structural macroeconomic models, and the development of novel econometric methods for estimation and inference for dynamic panel data models. Part of this research is undertaken together with researchers from the Institute for Monetary and Financial Stability, the University of Amsterdam, Capital University of Economics and Business Beijing, Georgetown University, Vietnamese-German University, the Deutsche Bundesbank, the European Central Bank, and the International Monetary Fund.
