Honors

The scientists and students at our faculty have reaped countless awards in recent years. As a subject, too, Economics & Business at Goethe University Frankfurt regularly occupies top places in national and international rankings. Here, our focus lies on the quality and breadth of education. We are delighted at this special recognition of our teaching, research and study performance.

The faculty itself also strives to honor outstanding achievements. For example, it acknowledges individuals who have rendered special services to studies and teaching and/or have proven their excellence in their scientific field by conferring on them either the Faculty Medal or an honorary doctorate.

Honorary Doctorate

Honorary doctorates are awarded for outstanding academic achievements or special services to our faculty. To date, the faculty has honored over 70 individuals.

Faculty Medal

Since 1964, the Faculty Medal has been awarded to individuals who show continuous and outstanding commitment to teaching at our faculty.
